St. Helena
M. Frederic Boutique
at Brasswood
Wearable Panache
The new M. Frederic women's (and some men's) clothing boutique at Brasswood Wine and Food Village and Winery (aka the "Old Cement Works" to all of us locals) outside St. Helena is a refreshing addition to our town bringing a fresh and stylish edge. You see, rockstar Adam Levine's family put down roots in St. Helena and opened this boutique, too, with sister boutiques in Malibu and other SoCal hotspots.
There are no Celine handbags or Lamboutin shoes here (we have already got that covered downtown). Instead, the style leans boho -- with comfortable and fun clothes and handcrafted jewelry that won't break the bank. While celebrities and fashionistas peruse their Brentwood and beachy outposts, M. Frederic Boutique at Brasswood caters to our "day at the winery, casual dinner at Cook, Market, Charlie's, Gott's, Travigne and more..., evening at the Cameo" upper Napa Valley lifestyle, with a little bit of artisan boho chic thrown in to keep things lively. Plus, the Bakery at Brasswood (with its outdoor fireplace on cold mornings), the eco-design winery, Brasswood Cellars, and Brasswood Restaurant (try the meatball on polenta and the homemade mozzarella on toast appetizers while reviewing the local-favorite restaurant's wine list) are pretty terrific, too, so check all of them out at Brasswood Wine and Food Village, 3111 St. Helena Hwy North, St. Helena
